Des Moines, Iowa (April 9th, 2014) – GlobalVetLINK (GVL®) was honored at the Prometheus Awards hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa, when the company was named the Technology Company of the Year for a small or medium business. This award recognizes a company’s business strategy, its products and services, its mission and its market potential.
The Technology Association of Iowa is the professional organization accelerating the success of Iowa’s technology industry and tech?based economy. This organization has supported and established the Prometheus
Awards over the past nine years. The awards are known as Iowa’s largest and most prestigious distinction dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the innovation and brilliance of Iowa’s high-tech industry. This ceremony honors both companies and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in technology.
A group from GlobalVetLINK represented the company at the awards banquet held in Des Moines at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. Accepting the award on behalf of the GlobalVetLINK team was IT Manager, Bob Shuka. Shuka commented that the main reason for GVL’s success is the hard working GVL Team. Also in attendance was Cliff Smith, CEO of GlobalVetLINK who commented, “This is a great honor and it’s definitely a team award.”
GVL was also the runner-up in the category of Life Sciences Company of the Year, which recognizes a company’s ideas, products or services, growth, and new market generation.
