As an Intern – Territory Development, you will focus on researching accounts to help identify new business opportunities, using your analytical skills to gather valuable insights and create a strong foundation for Workiva to engage with prospects. You’ll support pipeline growth by collecting and organizing account information for current and potential clients. In our fast-faced, collaborative environment, your ideas are valued, providing a unique opportunity to develop skills in business research and client development.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate to build engagement strategies for potential customer and prospect accounts
- Conduct baseline research to identify key contacts, account information, and potential needs of target clients
- Support outreach efforts with accurate data and insights, contributing to campaign and engagement strategy
- Build knowledge of Workiva’s product offerings and understand market dynamics to enhance research quality
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to lead generation or sales development activities
- Exposure to sales methodologies
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Strong ability to analyze and organize data, with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
